Power Rule- If you have an equation where a number is multiplied by 2 exponents, it looks like this:
example: (5 to the 8th power) to the 6th power
then, you will keep the same number, and MULTIPLY the exponents, like this:
solution: (5 to the 8th power x 5 to the 8th power x 5 to the 8th power x5 to the 8th power x 5 to the 8th power x5 to the 8th power)=5 to the 48th power

Zero Power Rule- If you see an exponent that looks like like this:
example: 5 to the 0 power
then you should know this, EVERY EXPONENT WITH A POWER OF ZERO EQUALS, NOT ZERO, BUT ONE!
solution: 5 to the 0 power = 1
example: (5 to the 8th power) to the 6th power
then, you will keep the same number, and MULTIPLY the exponents, like this:
solution: (5 to the 8th power x 5 to the 8th power x 5 to the 8th power x5 to the 8th power x 5 to the 8th power x5 to the 8th power)=5 to the 48th power
